SUMMARY

NexusTek, an award winning Microsoft Gold partner, empowers organizations to focus on their core value by taking on the burden of optimizing and managing their IT environment and business applications. We install, configure, troubleshoot, monitor, and maintain computer networks for small and medium-sized businesses in the greater Denver-metro area. The Sales Development Specialist is responsible for prospecting to generate leads and opportunities for the outside sales organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES        

  • Uncover, qualify, nurture, and build the sales opportunity pipeline for the outside sales team
  • 75% calling companies (outbound) to schedule first meetings in the SMB space
  • 25% email campaigns, calling marketing-generated (inbound) leads, managing website chat, contributing to sales meetings, and completing other assigned tasks
  • Collaborate with sales team to develop and drive new sales initiatives
  • Submit appropriate and timely information into customer relationship management software
  • Maintain an appropriate level of understanding of business technology, to include computer networking and business management software

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of sales administration, inside sales, and/or customer service experience
  • A mature, positive, and motivated individual with a strong desire to grow their skills
  • Excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills
  • Previous B2B sales experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office applications
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Other Helpful Criteria

  • Customer relationship management systems (e.g., Salesforce.com or Microsoft Dynamics CRM)
  • Direct experience selling information technology services and products
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics solutions
  • Knowledge of the managed service provider (“MSP”) business model
