J Michael Jenner, Chef Executive Officer
As CEO of NexusTek, Mike Jenner provides guidance to the leadership team, focused on the strategic growth of NexusTek and expansion into new markets. Mike brings more than 25 years’ experience in outsourcing, managed services, software and IT to the NexusTek team. As CEO of the ILLUMEN Group prior to joining NexusTek in 2015, Mike helped the Denver firm build a substantial portfolio of clients and establish a strong presence with community organizations and industry leaders. Before ILLUMEN, Mike led a team of more than 2,000 IT professionals and staff for Trizetto Inc.’s Services Division and spent nearly two decades as a senior executive at the helm of AT&T’s multi-billion dollar Enterprise Networking business. A Cornell University graduate, Mike received a bachelor’s degree in economics and statistics.
Kristen A. Noftsger, Executive Vice President of Consulting and Operations
As Executive Vice President of Consulting and Operations, Kristen Aleksa Noftsger brings extensive technology experience to NexusTek with more than 25 years in IT and Consulting Services. Kristen is an accomplished, results-oriented, technology executive skilled in growing and developing teams and managing complex, cross-company strategic initiatives to successful outcomes. Previously, as the Vice President of Consulting Services at TriZetto, Kristen was responsible for the operations and consulting teams, leading an organization of more than 400 team members as they delivered consulting and IT services to the healthcare industry. Kristen earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Vermont, a master’s degree in health science/health policy from Johns Hopkins University, and has completed executive level management coursework at UC Berkeley and Columbia University.
Corey Sisler, Chief Financial Officer
As CFO of NexusTek, Corey Sisler is responsible for all financial and tax reporting, liquidity management, strategy and M&A due diligence for the company. With more than 15 years of strategic leadership in finance, Corey spent the last 10 as CFO for mid-market private equity backed companies in energy and oil and gas. Corey began his career as a combat leader in the US Army and moved to management and IT consulting with KPMG where he advised Fortune 500 and Federal government clients. He is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Certified Financial Manager, Chartered Global Management Accountant, and a Licensed International Financial Analyst. Corey has undergraduate degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in finance and accounting and an MBA from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
John Allen, Executive Vice President of Sales
As Executive Vice President of Sales, John Allen brings extensive business technology and sales experience to NexusTek. John leads the sales and marketing teams focused on customer acquisition management and NexusTek’s overall strategic growth plans. Most recently, John was President of CyberTrails, LLC for 9 years and led the private equity owned Company until its ultimate sale to NexusTek. Prior to joining CyberTrails, he served as Financial Leader for the Phoenix Group of Acxiom Corporation, a provider of data and data processing services. He also previously served as a Credit Analyst for Spirit Finance Corporation, and Business Unit Financial Manager at Lucent Technologies’ in Phoenix. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Northern Arizona University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Adam Rusak, Senior Vice President of Technology and Chief Technology Officer
As Senior Vice President of Technology and Chief Technology Officer, Adam Rusak is responsible for the planning, organizing, controlling and directing of operations in support of strategic business initiatives involving the technology infrastructure and related systems. Adam brings more than 18 years of leadership in the research, development, design, implementation, and operation of managed services on client projects as well as technology operations experience in the data center and commercial carrier fields. Adam’s holds a Master’s degree from Villanova University in IS/IT Management. He also has been certified in technology related disciplines from Cisco, Nortel, VMware, and Aimetis and a member of the Project Management Institute, Internet Society, and the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE).

Brian St. Jean joined Abry in 2005. He has originated, supervised and sold numerous companies in Abry’s targeted areas. Areas of focus have included data centers, cybersecurity, business services and human capital management. Brian has led a variety of Abry’s investments in the communications & managed services sectors, including Hosted Solutions, Sentrum Data Centers, Basefarm, Datapipe, NuSpire, Stack Path, and Breakthrough Technology Group. Prior to joining Abry, Brian was a manager in PricewaterhouseCoopers’s mergers and acquisitions group focusing on the entertainment, media and communications industries. He is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island with high distinction.
James Scola joined Abry in 2010. He has diligenced, supervised, financed and sold numerous companies in Abry’s targeted sectors, with areas focus including communications, marketing services, software and business services. In the managed services and communications sectors, James’ experience includes roles on Abry’s investments in Telx, e-shelter, Emerging Markets Communications, and Grande Communications. Prior to joining Abry, James was a member of the Technology Group at Credit Suisse. He graduated summa cum laude from the Liberal Arts Honors Program at Providence College in 2008.
Avery Zuck joined Abry in 2016. He is responsible for analyzing new investments, working with portfolio companies and supporting sale transactions. Prior to joining Abry, Avery was a member of the investment team at Bain Capital Credit, where he was involved in a variety of control equity, mezzanine and senior debt investments. Previously, he was an investment banking analyst at City Capital Advisors. Avery graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2011.
David Coneway joined Abry in 2017. He is responsible for analyzing new investments, working with portfolio companies and supporting sale transactions. Prior to joining Abry, he worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at Deutsche Bank focusing on the technology industry. David graduated from Princeton University, where he earned an A.B. in Politics and was a member of the men’s track and field team. He is originally from Sofia, Bulgaria.
