Brian St. Jean joined Abry in 2005. He has originated, supervised and sold numerous companies in Abry’s targeted areas. Areas of focus have included data centers, cybersecurity, business services and human capital management. Brian has led a variety of Abry’s investments in the communications & managed services sectors, including Hosted Solutions, Sentrum Data Centers, Basefarm, Datapipe, NuSpire, Stack Path, and Breakthrough Technology Group. Prior to joining Abry, Brian was a manager in PricewaterhouseCoopers’s mergers and acquisitions group focusing on the entertainment, media and communications industries. He is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island with high distinction.
David Coneway joined Abry in 2017. He is responsible for analyzing new investments, working with portfolio companies and supporting sale transactions. Prior to joining Abry, he worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at Deutsche Bank focusing on the technology industry. David graduated from Princeton University, where he earned an A.B. in Politics and was a member of the men’s track and field team. He is originally from Sofia, Bulgaria.
Irénée Zigururimi joined Abry in 2021. He is responsible for analyzing new investments, working with portfolio companies, and supporting sale transactions. Prior to joining Abry, he was a member of the Services & Industrials M&A team at William Blair. Irénée graduated from The University of Chicago, where he earned a B.A. in Economics. He is originally from Kigali, Rwanda.
James Scola joined Abry in 2010. He has diligenced, supervised, financed and sold numerous companies in Abry’s targeted sectors, with areas focus including communications, marketing services, software and business services. In the managed services and communications sectors, James’ experience includes roles on Abry’s investments in Telx, e-shelter, Emerging Markets Communications, and Grande Communications. Prior to joining Abry, James was a member of the Technology Group at Credit Suisse. He graduated summa cum laude from the Liberal Arts Honors Program at Providence College in 2008.
Jeff Kaplan is a tenured IT and telecommunication industry veteran. Jeff comes to NexusTek through the acquisition of Breakthrough Technology Group, a premier Cloud Services provider and AT&T Channel Partner. Prior to founding Breakthrough Technology Group in 2007, Jeff served as the National Director of Complex Solutions at AT&T where he led a nationwide organization that helped Fortune 2000 clients address complex networking needs such as IT / telecom convergence, stadium construction and application hosting. Jeff received his MBA from Pace University – Lubin School of Business.
