POLICY

EFFECTIVE JUNE 3, 2025

Your privacy is critically important to us.

At NexusTek, we are committed to respecting and protecting your privacy regarding any information we may collect through our website and services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your information, as well as the choices you have regarding your personal data. This policy applies to all visitors, customers, and users of www.nexustek.com (“we,” “us,” “our”).

By accessing or using our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use this site.

Information We Collect

We collect several types of information:

Non-Personally Identifying Information

Like most websites, we collect standard data such as browser type, language preference, referring site, and timestamps. This helps us understand how visitors use our site and improve performance.

Personally Identifying Information

When you interact with NexusTek (for example, signing up for newsletters or submitting inquiries), we collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, company details, and service preferences.

AI-Generated Data

In accordance with our 2025–2026 Data Governance Policy, any data generated through our AI systems (including insights, analytics, and recommendations) is securely managed under strict access controls and classified based on its sensitivity.

We do not use AI systems to profile individuals based on protected attributes (race, gender, nationality, etc.) without explicit consent.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide and improve our services

Communicate with you (responding to inquiries, providing updates, or marketing communications you have opted into)

Ensure the secure operation of AI-generated systems under our AI Governance Policy

Conduct audits, monitor performance, and maintain compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, and other applicable regulations

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared.

Data Storage, Backup, and Retention

We follow rigorous backup and retention practices:

Snapshots of virtual machines and file shares are taken regularly and replicated to secondary data centers.

Data retention timelines vary, but we retain production data snapshots for up to seven days and delete former customer data no later than 180 days after contract termination, unless otherwise requested.

AI-generated data classified and encrypted at rest and in transit, following zero-trust access controls.

Data Deletion

We respect your right to request data deletion. Formal requests must come from your authorized company representative and will be processed according to our documented procedures. Once approved:

Active customer data is deleted within agreed timelines.

Former customer data is deleted between 90–180 days after termination, with written notices issued before deletion.

For AI-generated data, breach incidents or deletion requests are logged and investigated within 24 hours.

Security Measures

We apply commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to safeguard your data, including:

Role-based access controls (RBAC)

Regular security assessments and audits

AI risk assessments before deployment

While no system can guarantee 100% security, we are committed to continuously improving our controls to protect your information.
