J Michael Jenner, CEO
As CEO of NexusTek, Mike Jenner provides guidance to the leadership team, focused on the strategic growth of NexusTek and expansion into new markets. Mike brings more than 25 years’ experience in outsourcing, managed services, software and IT to the NexusTek team. As CEO of the ILLUMEN Group prior to joining NexusTek in 2015, Mike helped the Denver firm build a substantial portfolio of clients and establish a strong presence with community organizations and industry leaders. Before ILLUMEN, Mike led a team of more than 2,000 IT professionals and staff for Trizetto Inc.’s Services Division and spent nearly two decades as a senior executive at the helm of AT&T’s multi-billion dollar Enterprise Networking business. A Cornell University graduate, Mike received a bachelor’s degree in economics and statistics.
Jim Qualteri, President
Since 2006, Jim Qualteri has played a key role on the NexusTek management team. As the company’s President, Jim oversees customer service delivery, recruiting, and office management. Jim’s strength is his customer-centric approach that has driven NexusTek’s reputation for high-quality solutions resulting in an ongoing 98% client retention rate. Prior to joining NexusTek, Jim managed technology services for a large international publicly-held energy firm headquartered in Colorado. His management skills were developed and honed during his training and experiences in the Central Intelligence Agency and U.S. Army. Jim holds a B.S. from Metropolitan State College.
Don Epstein, Executive Vice President – Business Operations
With NexusTek since 1999, Don Epstein has served as Service Manager, General Manager, and now oversees marketing, finance, and human resources as Executive Vice President. Active in the Colorado IT industry since 1996, Don holds a B.S. in Information Systems from the University of the State of New York and holds certification credentials from Microsoft and other industry-leading organizations. Before joining NexusTek in 1999, Don worked for KeyBank and the U.S. Navy.
Troy Love, Infrastructure Practice Manager
Troy leads the Infrastructure Managed Services Practice and Professional Services team for NexusTek. Providing direction to the overall practice, Troy is charged with implementing the business strategy for customer satisfaction, solution offerings and revenue growth. Troy brings to his role an extensive background in developing strategic IT road maps, driving the successful deployment and adoption of complex technology solutions and providing ongoing support of technology platforms.
Chad McClure, Dynamics Practice Manager
As Microsoft Dynamic’s Practice Manager, Chad provides strategic leadership to NexusTek’s Dynamics CRM and SL team of experts. Chad has more than twenty years of experience that includes leading large-scale teams as National CRM Delivery Manager. Chad’s strength is his ability to solve business problems and increase efficiency through the use of business applications. As a certified Project Manager with several Microsoft certifications, Chad also has an M.B.A in Technology Management and a B.S in Business Administration.
Michael Norman, Vice President of Sales
As Vice President of Sales for NexusTek, Michael is responsible for new client acquisition and training and development of the sales team. For the past 18 years, Michael has focused on selling into the small and mid-sized business market. For 12 of those years, he was a senior manager and leading producer at the largest Professional Employer Organization (PEO) in the country, Oasis Outsourcing. With Oasis he won multiple awards for having the top sales teams in the country. Michael received his Bachelor of Science degrees in Marketing and Management from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
Greg Oblack, Vice President of Client Development
As Vice President of Client Development, Greg provides oversight on the sales, marketing and service teams to assure all resources are aligned with NexusTek’s strategic growth plans. Greg brings more than 18 years of experience delivering technology solutions to Colorado’s small and medium-sized businesses market. Joining the NexusTek team in 2015 from the ILLUMEN Group, Greg brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in IT managed services and customer relations. Greg played an integral part in advancing ILLUMEN from a consultancy in 1998 to one of the top IT managed services firms serving the SMB in Denver and across the Front Range.
Chris Corbett, Client Development Manager
As Client Development Manager, Chris Corbett oversees all business development activities for NexusTek’s existing client base. Chris Corbett holds Microsoft accreditation for Enterprise Resource Planning and is actively involved with the Colorado Chapter of the International Association of Microsoft Channel Partners (IAMCP). Hailing from Syracuse, New York, Chris has worked in the information technology industry since the late 90′s.
Tim Kline, Remote Services Manager
As Remote Services Manager, Tim Kline leads the Remote Services team, delivering managed IT services and rapid support response to NexusTek customers. Tim has worked in the information technology industry since 1998 and holds several certifications from Cisco and Microsoft. Tim is a firm believer that the customer comes first and customer service should always be top priority. The NexusTek Remote Services team is committed to providing top-notch support from the simplest technical question to critical business outages.
Paul Oakley, Service Manager
As NexusTek’s Service Manager, Paul Oakley manages all field infrastructure services consultants and manages all client infrastructure projects. Paul started his career in information technology 14 years ago as a help desk representative and joined NexusTek in November of 2004 as a field consultant. In recognition of his leadership skills and dedication to NexusTek’s operation, Paul was promoted to the Service Manager position in 2007. Paul is dedicated to delivering the highest levels of service to NexusTek’s client base.

Rich Erickson, Managing Director
Rich Erickson, Managing Director of Red Oak Growth Partners, is a seasoned technology executive and investor with almost 30 years of experience. Rich previously served as a General Partner with Updata Partners, a $450 million growth equity investment fund focused on market leading software, internet and business services companies. While at Updata, he was involved in a host of investments including serving on the Board of Directors for Acclaris, Jobs2Web, Redvision, Interactions and RES Software.
Conor Mullet, Managing Director
Conor Mullett, Managing Director of Red Oak Growth Partners, brings over 19 years of private equity experience, including leading and monetizing investments in buyouts, growth equity and venture capital. Conor’s experience includes being the Co-Founder and General Partner of Updata Partners, a growth equity firm with $450 million assets under management, where he was involved in all aspects of firm management. While at Updata, he was involved in a host of investments including serving on the Board of Directors for eSecurity (sold to Novell), Getpaid (sold to Sunguard), Netkey (sold to NCR), Jobs2Web (sold to Successfactors/SAP), iContact (sold to Vocus), Pulsepoint, Amber Road, Ordermotion (sold to Netsuite), Foresee and Pet360.
Robert Burkholder, Founder and Director
Rob Burkholder founded NexusTek in 1996, capitalizing on the rapidly growing technology services sector in the Denver metro area. Prior to founding NexusTek, Rob served as Vice President of Sales for Simpson Associates, a manufacturer’s rep firm representing Mitsubishi Semiconductor. Prior to his role at Simpson Associates, Rob served as District Manager for ADP Payroll Services. Rob holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and an M.S. in Telecommunications from the University of Denver.
Bill Nutter, Director
As a Partner with Tenth Street Capital, Bill is a 20 year veteran of the mezzanine finance industry. Before joining Tenth Street Fund III at the inception of the fund in July 2010, Bill co-founded and managed the Morgan Keegan Strategic Fund in 2005 and the Morgan Keegan Mezzanine Fund in 2000. Prior to joining Morgan Keegan, Bill served in a variety of investment and portfolio management roles with Finova Purchased Debt (formerly Sirrom Capital), First Union National Bank and Bank of America. In addition to NexusTek, Bill currently serves on the boards of Motionwear, Fast Pace Urgent Care, and Plasma Ruggedized Solutions. Bill Nutter earned his B.S. in Business Administration from East Tennessee State University in 1986, and his MBA from the Owen School at Vanderbilt University in 1994.
Andy Tatman, Director
Andy Tatman is responsible for sourcing, executing and monitoring investments for Tenth Street Fund III. He joined Tenth Street in September 2013 and has spent his entire career focused on the financing needs of lower middle market companies. Andy has over ten years of experience investing in mezzanine debt and equity transactions. Prior to joining Tenth Street, Andy served as a Director of Investments at Harbert Mezzanine Partners and in various roles with the Morgan Keegan Investment Banking Group and the Morgan Keegan Mezzanine Fund. He currently serves on the Board of Pro Tech Industries. Andy graduated summa cum laude from the University of Kentucky with degrees in Finance and Economics.
Robert Bourquin, Director
Rob Bourquin is responsible for sourcing, executing, and monitoring investments for Harbert Mezzanine Partners II (“HMP II”). Mr. Bourquin has over ten years of experience investing in middle market mezzanine debt transactions and was also a partner in Harbert Mezzanine Partners, the predecessor fund to HMP II. Prior to working with HMC, Rob held the position of Vice President with Sirrom Capital Corporation and with Finova Mezzanine Capital. He began his career with the investment bank George K. Baum in Kansas City. He received a Master of Business Administration degree from the Owen School at Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor of Arts from Dickinson College.
