NexusTek supports kids and technology at the 16th Annual KidsTek Charity Golf Classic
As one of the largest IT managed services companies serving small and mid-sized businesses in Colorado, we are proud to support technology-focused projects. We were honored to be a KidsTek sponsor at the 16th Annual KidsTek Golf Classic. KidsTek is a Colorado nonprofit that focuses on increasing the technology literacy of students at Colorado’s highest-needs schools through innovative after school, project-based enrichment programs and in-school technical certificate programs.
NexusTek greeted happy golfers at the 14th hole with an opportunity to send their first drive more than 350 yards using an air cannon. The very popular “driver” is shown here by Michael Norman, NexusTek’s Vice President of Sales.
In addition to our participation in the 16th annual golf tournament, NexusTek was happy to contribute funds to the 2017 KidsTek scholarship winner, Josias Chavez.
Below, Amy Charlton, Vice President of Strategic Operations at KidsTek and Sammer Khalaf, NexusTek’s Senior Manager of Product Management and Marketing, are shown addressing attendees with a call-to-action.
Sammer inspires donors with a heartfelt plea and how scholarships helped him attend his dream college! We wish Josias great success at Colorado State University and following his dream of a technology career!
